After being taught the games by his wife Jennifer Harman, Marco Traniello is slowly making a name for himself, some may even say 'quietly making a name for himself'. He has finished 5th in the World Omaha Championships which is a great job in itself when the final table consisted of Robert Mizrachi (1st), Patrick Antonius (3rd) and everyones favourite Doyle 'I'm still gonna be better at poker than you when I'm dead' Brunson!!! As well as surpassing other players such as Scrawnybob's fave Roy Brindley, Scotty Nguyen, Annie Duke to name a few.

I had this discussion with friend this afternoon and their response was that he could have got lucky and got the cards and the breaks go in his favour and that he couldn't be that good of a player if he had never heard of him. This is before I pointed out that the final table finish is his 14th World Series cash bringing his total WSOP winnings to just under $300K.

I say he is a lucky man, he has an attractive wife who has taught him well and is profiting from it, as well as having a succesful business of his own (as a hairdresser, but we'll leave that alone lol)
