Default different sites need different styles

hi Shad

I hear you - some sites just have crazy players and that can be just as tough or tougher for players to play against and profit if you approach all sites and players in the same way

i think if you have found a certain style of play works for you and the players it works against are not total beginners of loose aggressive (ie. weak easy to beat players) then you should play at sites which have the kind of competition that you can dominate because you understand that they understand poker - if you see what I mean

certainly I find that I have to play very differently at the loose easy to win sites - because as much as you want to play a certain way - there is no guarantee you can control the table in the way you'd like

ie. you get "too many" callers at loose tables / sites

but I've found at least in the cash games anyway that the sites which boast the loosest easiest to win games do offer a good return - but it is and always will be a bit of a rollercoaster ride

I think you have to take Daniel Negreanu's approach - which is to welcome weak / bad players with open arms but to also play what I think would be termed "small pot" poker

ie. come in to alot of pots / hands if they're cheap - go for cheap draws but also play those big hands a little more conservatively - ie. reduce the number of players preflop / flop but also be more inclined to lay hands down and not try to over load the pot just because you have a big hand

personally I also like to play at sites with nice / practical graphics and I've never really got into party - although I think just about everyone has played there at one point or another

hope thats a help
