Default Jamie Gold

I'm not too sure about this. It was certainly true in the ME he won
that his table talk was a big help, no doubt. But since then I think
it hasn't really been to his advantage.

In the hand vs Doyle it was pretty clear that Jamie thought he had the
best hand, and I'm pretty sure he wanted to get paid. But he talked
Doyle into folding. Obv had the cards been know he got the right
result, but in reality he got the opposite of what he wanted.

In the hand vs Farha, if Jamie had have been just a normal guy and not
a blabbering douche, Farha may well have just checked behind anyway
fearing Jamie had a T or a set - its not like Jamie doesn't check
strong hands on later streets. I'm sure everybody else at the table
was putting Jamie on QQ/KK there after that ridiculous speech, and may
have actually ALMOST talked Sammy into betting. Its really hard to
say how it would have gone down otherwise and what was going though
Sammy's head.

I just watched some of this years ME last night, and it seemed like
Jamie talked some of his opponents into calling there as well. And he
played horribly and busted less than 1/2 way through day one.

Same holds for some of the PAD hands, or at least I think so - I can't
recall too many details now OTTOMH.

Anyway, up until recently I thought Jamie was pretty solid and used
his talk to his advantage pretty well. Now I'm starting to think the
stars were aligned just right during his ME run. I vote for moron.
