Default Bots.. good or bad

Hello All,

It is an interesting area the should bots be allowed or not. Personally I would like to see a tourney where no players are allowed and people program there bots to react how they want them to react and see who has the best system. If you think about it, in a thousand seat arena with no human area of error, with just 100% programmed systems by each individual... well the winner could actually write a saleable book as his/her system is almost infalable. I won't use a bot in a cash game, but I have programmed a bot (HoldemMemory) to play like I would play.... took me almost two hours just to program t=the preflop permutations! After that I downloaded partypoker, dusted off the cobwebs from my account (my first ever site I played on whene I was a poker virgin) and was looking forward to seeing my 'super system' work (the freeware version allows you to play on play money tables, all I needed really)...... Bugger doesn't work on that site anymore. nnnnnoooooooo. Good job I did not program any more info into the sodding thing... two hours of my life that I won't get back!

Has anyone else got a bot they think is good? Holdem Memory is very good, if I could get the thing to work on a site.

Maybe we could arrange a poker bot tourney? but it would have to be a no cash game as this sort of thing would attract interest to people would abuse an experiment like this.

I know it is not politically corresct to use a bot, but you have to admit this is an interesting area of experimenting. Who really does have the best system?

Take care and keep busting the fish's pairs with thy premiums.
