Default Top 10 sites & What are micro games

hi Clare

yep - all the top 10 sections need a bit of an update - already on TTD list

there should be a bit of variation between the rankings on each section like bonuses, overall, software etc

And I've tried to put in a bit of a mix of sizes in terms of size, for example carbon poker is a pretty small site compared to the big sites - PokerStars, Full Tilt & Party and compare to the medium sites - ongame network, ipoker network etc

but generally players want to know that there is a good range of the popular games at most stakes, tournaments etc so the bigger sites tend to rank better

some of the smaller sites are worth playing as the bonuses tend to be bigger and / or the players are alot worse - but the downside tends to be the range of tables / games etc

we also have all the sites we have reviewed (40+) under the bonus section (red tab) so that members can explore other options too

hope thats a help

hi clinton

micro games are the description most sites use for the very low stakes cash / ring games on sites - so players who dont have the bankroll to be playing 5/10 cent games of 10/25 cent games can play in micro limit games like 1/2 cent games or 2/4 cent games

these are a cheap way to start playing in cash games - some sites have these low micro limit games and some sites start at 5/10 cent games (which generally have a max buy-in of $10 so ideally require a $200 bankroll) for players with less experience and a smaller bankroll the micro games with max buy-ins of say $2-$5 means these are viable for a smaller bankoll

although I tend to play lower than 5/10 cents even with a much smaller bankroll I really would not recommend this if you havent played a fair amount of cash games

hope thats a help

cheers scrawnybob
