Poker Orifice is on a distinguished road

I heard that PartyPoker used to be a great site to cash in on in the soft $10 SNG's, the smallest one's at the time.
I hear ya though when you're tryin' to play against players who don't even have a clue,... start's becoming a game where 'any two cards' are a 'starting hand',.. it does suck severely. I find PokerStars $1 SnG's to be like that ALOT!!!!!
I find the best way to play them is to not raise as I usually would preflop (cuz those Loose Calling Station morons are going to call regardless of what you bet). I either fold, fold, and fold some more, watch some of them build their chipstacks while other's fall by the wayside. I will only then enter a hand if I have a MONSTER and then will push 10x more aggressively than I usually do (and I normally play tight agg./agg 'BOMB' neutral). Another thing I'll incorporate in my play is to keep it real simple (as suggested in that book, 'How to win $30,000 in online poker'. If I can see the flop for cheap (or if I've got a good hand and am seeing the flop anyways) and if I hit top pr. top kicker I'm pushing allin,.. simple as that. Crappy way to play poker but just about the only thing I find that works against those types of players. Also, if I see that they're betting out always, with even low pr. on board, low kicker, no dr's, etc. (yah,.. I know,.. they do that,... 'sick' ening), I will just call and set the trap then push out a good pot-sized bet on the river (and they'll still call, lol).
Pretty gross to have to play in that type of field. Trust me, I've tried over and over again,.. sick of it. I don't have the biggest of bankrolls to play in games over a $5 buy-in but do find the $5 buy-in level to be much better than any lower than that. Lately I've been opting to play in some satellites so that I can enter into games with a bigger buy-in (ie. $26 & $75 on Fulltilt) so that I can play on tables with good play (I'd way rather be playing against 'good' players,.. at least they'll be thinking along the same lines as I am while they're playing and really don't mind be outplayed at all (especially in comparison to be outdunked or outsucked... grrr...)).
I'm still learning this online poker deal. Was getting real frustrated with not being able to find tables I enjoyed playing on. Much better now though,.. .I finally came to the realization that I must buy-in to at least $5 a game and need to throw out the 'old thinking' of "I'll just play in a few $1 one's at the same time and will play super tight!!" (same result over and over,... a few cashes and then a slow but sure draining of my account, lol,..not too funny at the time though).
