Default unsubscribe to threads

hi

yep I thought our US members would appreciate the feature - its difficult as I want everyone who can play to know about our events

but also to only send ones to players that can play - this option does of course rely on members using the feature - but it should make things better for those that do

on the thread front - yep in your profile options you can subscribe or unsubscribe from threads I used to get stuck with it myself having somehow ticked subscribe to everything I'd posted in ... which made for a very full inbox

these features are very much down to the individual member setting things up as they want - as a default it shouldnt be sending email notices about threads

as a general rule - all members will get a Password PM on wednesday's with the passwords for both the US Open & the non US League games (for Thursday & Sunday)

then as a follow up on the harder to fill buy-ins I may send out another one on Saturday for Sundays league games - although I would rather not

The weekly PokerHeaven password will go out to Non US Players only as will any other special Non US player games as separate PM's

Any special games that are open to all including US players will go out to the whole list

On the email newsletter front we will only send out a maximum of 2 per month (but realistically we only send max of one per month generally) - I only say possibly two just in case a site suddenly gives me 20 tickets to the WSOP and a freeroll ... and I'm guessing everyone would want to know about that one ;-)

cheers scrawnybob
