hi
nice quiz BTW
1) B
I know its on 4kingpoker somewhere but from memory I think its 169
2) A
10th is nearest but I think AK off its 9th best hand, suited AK I put 5th but other put it 4th
Poker Starting Hands ranked
the top hands are all ranked differently by alot of pros and maths people but usually within 1 spot of each others opinion
3) C
(or maybe the obvious B) but
I think this maybe a bit of trick question - clearly if only KK against JTs then Kings are the stronger hand - but looking at this the other players in the hand are important at influencing the number of outs and live cards - KK is already underdog against the AA so I'm guessing but
with KK against AA (the best preflop hand of them all) you are dead with only 2 outs to make a better hand - and only those two outs through the flop, turn & river
with JTs afaiks against the other 3 hands with a favourable flop etc you have far more outs than 2 to break the AA - in other words I think playing the hand face up JTs has possible running suited cards and also running straight cards
but I may have completely misunderstood the question ;-)
4) A
I guess it's got to be around 60/40 of them having a better of worse hand
but would love to say B though that cant be right as all cards have a chance and C is clearly wrong leaving A
cheers scrawnybob
ps. when is teacher going to tell the class his right answers ?
