I'm sorry about that...if you can't tell spring really makes me happy...new life, the smell, the brightening colors, the feeling that everything is slowly coming awake after a long winter's sleep.
Where I live, the winters feel so long and by the time spring gets here I have horrible cabin fever and can't wait to open the windows and breathe in the fresh air.
Our pond isn't quite finished, but it's looking good..and I just love watching it come alive and create new life. We are planning to put in a waterfall this summer..the sound of falling water is so soothing and relaxing and it draws more birds to our yard. I have some medical problems and relaxing is something I NEED to be able to do and our pond, yard, woods and creek provide the perfect sanctuary...
