Hello i am a member of a few big online poker forums and this happens to them all.To be brutally honest its mostly the Italians and Romanians. And they come and go like the seasons change.History does prove that.Heres the real problem i think, and im only using these names as an example.(not trying to offend anyone)
Say Jonny Thompson signes up to the forum he says hes from Quebeck,Canada and with ease makes his 10+ posts and starts playing password protected games.
Meanwhile him name is really Navid Raduk from Romania(again just examples) and after he becomes active he return to his Poker Forum in his home Country. And posts your Private Freeroll Password. As they all laugh and giggle. Its always going to be a problem.
The only solution and i think someone said this already. And more sites are doing this.Is to have a list of Active Forum Players planned out with you and the poker client. And names will automatically be registered,no password even needed.I know Full Tilt does this for a few of there forums.Thats just my two cents though
