Hey there, nice to meet you and welcome to the forum.

you sound to me like someone who had experienced the online bragging on your flesh. but you know what? somewhere, you are also wrong.

you see, Football or soccer if you like, is the most famous and loved sports around the globe and related or not its also the most "violent" also in the game itself but mostly- the violence is "arond it", beneath it, before it and after it. it's like a part of the game "the swearing, the cursing the pushing the spitting its all there. inside the game we love so much.

and its not really a big surprise!
have any of you went watching your teams match and sat quietly the entire game? eating you sandwich, reading your paper smoking your cigarette?
are these cheering songs, you hear on your big screen tv by some team's fans really are "songs", and not a musical hate for their opponents??

the truth is, that standing there shouting your guts out, trying to help your team win, and the opponent lose is a normal human behaviour as long as no harm done to property or the people.

Lets talk about poker now....

and i claim, its basically the same as football, again, as long as ther's no harm done. and turning off the player chat isn't that big issue IMHO.

And like football, i can remember myself using a "hot" language not on someone who beat my kings with 58 off, but on someone who lost to my KK with 58 off and i told him to return when he knows how many cards there is in the deck...

because ill tell you between us, the KK won so many times more than it lost to 58 off and in a game which involves the luck factor, these situations are to expect for!!

the key is how YOU react to tough or sudden factors that may come across your table.

but again, if you are so pissed with the chatbox and its content, then knowing where the "chat off" button is more important than the cards your holding
