well, I simply use the chat window, and ask them, "do you want to split the blinds". Usually the people that are doing this jump right on it, and its on. observant newbies ask how to do that and readily agree. I haven't found any "good" poker players that refuse. there have been a few newbie's that ignorned the chat question, but they were really timid players. so I'd bet preflop, they'd fold, then I mix it up and bet on the flop, they fold. in any case i played aggressive heads up and thank god i haven't met some yet in that situation that plays very good and took me on. the blind sharing only works really with you and one other actually playing. tho I have got it going with 3 before.
As far as EVs, well, i'm still a newbie myself and still learning about that.
One site I know of has a freeroll on a regular basis, where 400 or so register, but only 30 to 50 actually play. this place must be a secret. but the few of us that play it regular, blind share like crazy till 3 or more finally get on the same table. It is still however a chore to wade through, and boring to boot. But you are then in a nice position if you make it through.
