swords to ploughshares
hi Jacks
great story and a perfect illustration of how to turn things around -
really appreciate it by the way
we have some great ambassadors for both the game and for 4kingpoker ;-)
I know from experience that while I know alot of members would like me to jump off the deep end more with new members / password sharers etc (and trust me I do) that there are also countless stories of new members that have on the face of it fitted the mould of being "just another" password hunter ... and have then gone on to become great members of the forum ...
just because they found a friendly reception and an environment where they found they had a second chance or were given a bit of time to either post up good / better posts or just not turned away with a harsh reception ... so it really does make a huge difference how we as members / more established members handle new members or those "dreaded" password hunters
while I wont give any quarter to password posters - those evil rule breakers, as they DO need to be hunted down and stopped ... It's always worth remembering for the most part people who USE passwords they come across or search out ... are NOT intending to be evil by their actions ... they just dont know better yet
the same goes for the quality posting issues ... so keep reporting the bad posts (and NOT replying to them) and keep adding good stuff to the good threads
4kingpoker does by my original intention and by the members continuing this spirit on ... aim to be friendly, helpful and importantly a useful place to post
cheers scrawnybob
