The 'worst' poker site,... hmm... .kinda of a strange way of putting it. What might consitute 'worst' for one might be 'best' for another.
I think it really depends on what you're looking for in a poker site. I think the worst one's are the ones that were in operation for a short time period, the f'd off and took everyone's cash with them (yes,.. there are a handful of them that I know of,.. probably lots more that I don't know of).
For some, a good poker site is one with fancy graphics and easy to read tournament lobby. For others, it's tables that are filled with novices ('homegame-style poker').
Personally, I really dislike PokerStars at present but this is only because the games they offer at the type of buy-ins that I can currently afford on my poker bankroll are filled with donkeys, so a good player can get sucked out on,.. .often! I play on $5-$10 sngs, and $5 Mtts (but have almost completely ceased playing on Stars altogether except for a handful of private tourneys that I enter there,.. .and for this, Stars is great!).
I'm also aware that PokerStars can be considered an excellent site as well. It's my understanding that the ring games on Stars $1/$2 & up are great!! I've also been told by many that the $25& up Mtt's are excellent as well. But for my personal preference at the moment, Stars sucks big time --- the $5 & under Mtt's are more donkey-ish that a priv. forum freeroll.
I think for micro-buyins Fulltilt is far superior to Stars. I also really prefer their Mtt's for a ton or reasons. I like that their aren't 2,000 + entrants in each one and that the cheaper ones don't have a 20% payout structure (what,... everybody wins??,.. 20%,.. that's ludicrous in my opinion). Fulltilt also seems to have a higher skill level at the mirco buy-in levels.
For micro buy-ins, I think that Doyles Room is a good site for sure! I highly recommend it.
Okay,.. now in my opinion (because of what my personal preferences are on a poker site), I'd have to say that 'PokerInCanada' poker site is the worst. I tried playing on there when I first heard about the site and while on a table two separate times, when I won a large pot and then was quickly moved to another table, my chips were actually lost somewhere in the mix?? When I contacted them about it, they admitted that they were occassionally having problems with this (what????.... that's insane!!).
And as far as skill level in the freerolls on that site???,.. I think they must market it in Grade Schools cuz my girlfriend played on there with only 30days experience playing poker and actually came in 1st place of 4,000 entrants (what's up with that, lol). This is when I discovered what their buy-in games were like,..... garbage!!
there's my opinion for ya. My guess is that PartyPoker is probably a good site too if you're playing in the $50+5 sngs & up (at least I've heard it is....)
[one man's worst might be another man's best,... depends on what you're looking for]
