yep I know some of you are keen on having chat feature - and also know that I have expressed my reservations

primarily because ...

a) its a spammers / bonus code offers dream ... and my nightmare

b) without meaning to sound critical from what I have seen of forum chat at other sites its is either very under used (even at sites that use it alot) or err complete and utter drivel / pointless conversations

c) anything that is worth discussing and benificial to all the members gets discussed in a blink of an eye between a couple of people and then disappears ...

with a forum the discussions have more substance & are there permanently for all members to see, read, reply to or consider even if they dont reply

maybe I miss the point of it and I appreciate its something alot really like but I'd much rather build the forum conversations / discussions so all can see and contribute ... chat is very of the moment

maybe we could look at having chat sessions at certain times - like after a league game or something ... but again I think the idea a couple of members have had of discussing league game hands and play in the forum is a great idea and chat would mean this wouldnt happen
