Very bold move with 22. Even if he is raising with crap and you put him on crap, theres a 99.9% chance that he had two overcards. So even if he had 83 and not AK, the odds are pretty much just the same.
You lucked out though, and luck is a bigger part of poker than many of us would like to admit... just as much as following your gut feeling and having the balls to go all in with deuces.
