Default I wouldnt reply to links in unknown emails

hi

email security

I wouldnt ever use the links in an email from an unknown source - I'm not techie but I know its pretty easy for these sorts of people to make emails look like they come from somewhere they didnt and also make return links look right but go somewhere completely different

so I would buy surveys and things like that in with all fishing "bank" emails everyone should know about

if you havent subscribed to something to do with gov then its highly unlikely to be legit

if your not sure - re google the main site info eg the uk gov and see what you find then use the links within that legit site ... not "links to it" in an unknown email

colusion in poker games

on this front I would say in the early days alot of people thought they could play clver by colluding in SNG's being the obvious thing and cash games ... but in reality they are generally poor players thinking they are gaining an edge

they are not good players and any edge by colluding becomes pretty marginal ... there is little point in 5 players colluding in a 10 seat SNG with only 3 paying out etc

they're are a few angles (I've heard some less than savvy people try) that could be used on certain special tournaments with accumulator type bonuses for winning several on the bounce ... but again these are players who are not good and trying to cheat the poker room (not really players) ... this gets caught onto pretty quick by the poker rooms and it's really really obvious

poker rooms are not daft
