I'm being pretty conservative with my free $. I've played a few $1 tourneys, but didn't cash. Played 1 heads-up match which I won. Am playing 05/10 blind ring games and am doing well overall. I was up by a few bucks till a little bit ago when my trip J's got sucked out on. So at this point I'm only down $2, which is OK considering I lost more than $4 on the J's. I still haven't sat down for a lengthy ring game. When I get up a bit, I leave the table. I expect to be able to get more of a feel, and be more consistent, the more I play. Now that I have some in my account, I'm not playing like I'm playing with the rent money. I don't know if this is really a help or not, but I look for specific types of tables. I look for tables where all players are within the $4 buy in range, or at least close. I try to avoid tables where there are 1 or 2 players with big stacks. We'll see how it goes.
