Default Phil Hellmuth, Jr.

I have been reading Play Like The Pros by Phil Hellmuth. I am only about half way through but I have been enjoying it so far. I just got to the NLH Tourney strategy section and I am looking forward to seeing what it has to offer. I was tempted to skip right to it but then decided to be good and read it cover to cover.

He breaks down all the different types of players into different animal types like the Mouse that plays super tight and the Elephant that calls everything. I have already started using this when I sit at the table. He also breaks down several different strategies into easy to understand terms and tells how far you should take each strategy depending on your experience.

There is very little math which for me is good and it is extremely approachable. I do plan on reading other books like the Super System eventually but it just seemed so daunting for my 1st one.
