I agree with Killua, raise right away...preflop. If you just make a minimum bet or simply call other bets with pocket A's you will probably get sucked out. I have lost many hands with pocket A's and sometimes it just doesn't really matter if you bet big or check, there is always and idiot that will call you and usually wins on the damn river.
