Doing that [simply calling] in a live game will get you felted quicker than you can say flop!

The simple matter of it is if you let J4, or Q6 play [and there are those that play it] they will hit two pair without you having ANY idea where you're at.

Making $$ in Hold-em is all bout understanding where you're at as the hand progresses.


Online limping w/ AA can often be effective mostly because it seems like [imho] online play is much more LAG. It's soooo easy to move on to a different table/game etc. Even w/ cash online.... You sit down and lets say you donk off $250.... You go sit at another table & you have what I like to call the "Inverse-Cheers" where no one knows your name [US TV show Cheers tagline had "where everyone knows your name" in the song].

In a live game, trust me... you'll go broke.
