thats a terrible bit of luck - not really a bad beat though as you both had totally valid reason to stay in the hand if you both made quads

I'm guessing you both had pocket AA / KK so no-one is going to be in a hurry to back off when both hands hit

still hurts though - I'm going through bad phase of hitting flushes and then getting out draw to full houses by the river

keep the faith that won't happen too often
