scrawnybob is on a distinguished road
Default K 10 v K9

hi

I think if you make 2 pair on the flop you needed to at least re-raise the first guy

by flat calling your telling him his top pair 10 kicker is probably got a good chance - this IMHO is why he kept going to see more cards

always difficult to know what the other players are putting you on - but if you show weakness (flat calling) then it keeps the door open to these sorts of hands

and then things can go wrong

just a thought - but I would always tend to play hands hard if they hit unless the board is actually really scary for you and then I'd either bet alot harder or just leave the hand well alone

poker is a really amazing game of out thinking your opponents and making them make the tough decisions

If you re-raise on the flop I think you'd have taken the hand there and then - far safer

cheers scrawnybob
