Default hmm he was probably thinking the same thing

hi

bottom end of anything is always the bottom end of it - which is always likely to spell trouble

the flop is 3 cards so from what you said if you had only 4 spades (3 flop + 1 hole) when the flop came down you were both on a draw

him to the top end of the straight flush

you to the bottom end

ok if you had 3 spades + another high spade (ie a flush on the flop) but what was his other card ?

did he have two spades ? or was he on a big draw like you ?

look at it this way - say a spade but not the spade you need to make the straight flush hit on the turn

you are a massive dog with a 3 spades to anyone else with any spade -

as you were both drawing on the flop I think you were both having a bit of a gamble - his was a bit less so IMHO

also if I managed to hit the nuts straight flush with an 8 - hell I would DEFINATELY beat big into a player who had been firing at it

He would have been thinking - this guy hit the on flop with 2 spades in his hand or a big single spade - either way by luck or clever play he know he has every hand covered and he put you on having hit the flush too

this is exactly the sort of hand if you were him to bundle all your money back in back at a better

if he saw you were not so keen - he'd have slow played to give you as much rope as possible

cheers scrawnybob
