The problem with pocket jacks, queens, kings, whatever is what do you do when a higher card hits the board? If you've made a big preflop bet and got called, you'd better plan on the other person having AQ or AK. He may have a pocket pair but do you want to be calling an all-in? I think the best was to play them is a small raise preflop trying to make a smaller playing field. If you don't improve be prepared to fold. If some one goes all-in, don't call them. They don't have top pair on the board. They have trips.
