I’m not saying this to brag as honestly in my opinion its not something to brag about (it is a tough life I wouldn’t wish upon anyone, and would not trade for anything in the world. I’m sure this doesn’t make sense to most). I am 27 and for 8 years my primary source of income has been from gambling. Primarily Poker, but some sports betting and proposition wagering.
I have a strong opinion that reading the Theory of Poker and taking notes should be a prerequisite of playing poker as a source of income. This book is genius and has so much value.
There is a saying I heard once that has so much value: “If the how to’s were enough we would all be happy, rich and thin”. While this book has some of the how to’s it much more. It helps a player learn to think like a winning player.
Also from much experience I’ve learned that thoughts direct our actions and actions direct our results. A sharp mind thinking correctly is so much more powerful then how to’s.
This post might sound like whacky psycho babble and maybe it is but the point is:
Great book I highly recommend.
