i have to agree with luzipher, maybe if you are building a bankroll, or playing the 100$ freeroll at full-tilt
then you have a point wixx. no-one likes to be the bubble boy after 3 hours.
another thing is- your goal should be to win and i always see those weird moves like calling an all-in with AJ OR A10 off suit and wonder: "did this person play 2.5 hours just to give all his chips away for rags"?
but as luzipher sais- the "cashing" only is usually a few bucks more than the buy-in while the big money is at 1 2 3 even 4 places and look at it this way

finishing 1st-3rd in one tournament will cover you as if you had to "cash" in god knows how many tournaments...
+there is no other feeling like winning a tournament
