You are still open to be up against a set, flush draws, straights.
So whilst some will try take the pot straight after the flop, I will merely bet a half the pot at the very most ( dependant on how many are in and how the flop pans out ).
If I have to I will lay it down. Discretion being the better part of valour.
As I say, too many people overvalue KK and will call any raise, even go all in with it, and it can seriously damage you if you arent careful.
So whilst its a big hand, you have to remember KK isnt the biggest hand and the more people willing to call you, the less likely it is they will hold up...
In a nutshell, tread carefully..

You are right, people do get blind when the have pocket cowboys in their hand.
They play it obvious - unafraid, aggressive , trying to put as much money as possible in the pot. When someone calls they don't hold back, but unless you are playing with complete donkeys ... you are waiting for a miracle 3rd king to take this pot.
Let go of kings! and if it's deep stacked game, you can let go before the flop as well!
If someone raises ontop of your intial raise and you re raise him and he goes all in, it won't be with anything worse than your hand. What do you think it is? QQ? JJ? AKs? no way!
For the matter of fact, if you call you should pray for a split pot or a miracle 4-cards-on-board flush (without him having the A ofcurse).
