Default NEW locked password area IN USE

    hi all

just to let you all know the new locked password area is up

and NEW POSTING & PASSWORD RULES now apply ...

to access the locked password area new members will need to have made 10+ quality posts and been a member for 24hrs BEFORE they can access the passwords

existing members will need to have made 10+ posts in the last 90 days

if you cant access the locked password area an error message should come up explaining that you have not posted enough in the last 90 days OR that you are a new member of less than 24hrs without 10+ quality posts

the new system will be in use for NOW onwards - NO password PM's will be sent out anymore

and most importantly I WILL NOT BE REPLYING TO ANY PASSWORD REQUESTS VIA PM
if the system won't give them to you - then I'm not going to either - so dont waste my time or yours

    cheers scrawnybob

Superb, yesterdays freeroll were a bloody joke, full of sit outs from Romania France and Germany. Hopefully this will end the password thieves games.

The odds are this will not end it, but this is the beginning of a process. If someone is active enough to share the password on other sites then they will probablly continue to access the pws. It will take the collective effort on our part to use the rating system and keep disrespectful members out of the pw locked area. WE CAN DO IT.

Default thats where the tough work starts

    hi all

yes weeding out the members who are prepared to post AND share passwords IS where the problem is

I would still like members to PM me with info on any known password (and provable) password sharers - at other sites / posts in other forums etc etc - as this just helps me target some of the systems features quicker and more accurately

suffice to say I am not going to give away all of the things that have been added to the system but I can track who has accessed the passwords and also I have some other things up my sleeve ...

eg. DONT just assume you will all get the same passwords shown to you as everyone else - I could set multiple passwords which would all work - but would also show which password used created the leak of password ...

the password sharers hopefully dont need to be rocket scientists to figure out that this means I could narrow down on them pretty easily - and ban them and then get poker rooms to deal with their accounts as they see fit

So I stongly suggest if you've been here sharing passwords - just dont bother posting to get back into the password area - its going to end up more hastle than you really want to be bothered with

And yes it will mean banning members who have remained under the radar - so make sure your all whiter than white ... or move on ;-)

Totally cool, rad, and some new thinking on how to track PW thieves. Big applause here. Poker is still evolving. This just might be the start of the defeat of thieves, that historians will look back on as a turning point. good job SB

Default pretty much only one post per week would do it

    hi

the new requirement shouldnt be too hard even for our members wh olike to read more than post - thats cool btw

a ten post requirement over 60 days is

1 post every 6 days OR just a touch over an average of 1 post per week

so realistically if members made a whole 3 posts every other week - they'd be fine ;-)

Does posting to our team forum count as a quality post or does it have to be in one of the sites forums? I too am not much of a poster and although 10 post in 60 days is very manageable I curious about team post too. And I know this may sound navie, but does a reply count as a post?
