I hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Year break ...

now we are ready to start all the new 4kingpoker leagues and team leagues ...

Regular leagues (US Open V & Non US V)
start this Thursday 15th Jan at Carbon & PKR

New Team Only leagues (Fulltilt TOC I & Carbon TPT III)
start this Sunday 18th Jan at Full Tilt and Carbon Poker

Thats 4 Leagues ... Every week over 12 weeks ... Join in, Compete and Win

In addition we will have some "one off" and non league games which will include some freerolls

Non US League V

$1 buy-in with $50 added
Every Thursday at 7pm GMT alternating between Titan Poker & PKR Poker

In addition to money added the overal top 3 players in the league after 12 games will win additional cash ... 1st $30, 2nd $20 & 3rd $10.

US Open League V

$1 buy-in with $50 added
Every Thursday at 7pm EST alternating between Carbon Poker & Bodog Poker

FullTilt TOC I (Team Only Cup)

$1 buy-in with $50 added
Every Sunday at 2pm EST at Full Tilt Poker

You must be in ONE of the 4kingpoker Teams to play in the FullTilt TOC (same team as for Carbon TPT III)
To request to join a team (max 10 players) make sure you have 10+ decent posts in the forum.

Winning team (max 10 players) will win an additional $50 freeroll for their team

Also top 3 individual players overall after 12 games will win additional cash ... 1st $30, 2nd $20 & 3rd $10

Carbon TPT III (Team Play Trophy)

$1 buy-in with $50 added
Every Sunday at 5pm EST at Carbon Poker

You must be in ONE of the 4kingpoker Teams to play in the Carbon TPT III (same team as for FullTilt TOC I)
To request to join a team (max 10 players) make sure you have 10+ decent posts in the forum.

Winning team will win free seats at our $5 buy-in with $50 added game, which will only be open to the members of the top 3 teams overall (members of 2nd & 3rd placed team will be able to buy-in for $5)

NEW LOCKED PASSWORD AREA & RULES

We now have a new locked password area on the forum for all our regular league passwords - they will be posted approxmiately 2 hrs before games

THE LOCKED PASSWORD AREA IS NOW THE ONLY WAY TO GET PASSWORDS (excluding team only games)

(the locked password area is at the top of the forum main page in the section below forum rules)

Please read and follow the NEW RULES to be able to access the passwords ...

New members must make 10+ QUALITY posts in the forum (min 2 lines / w sentences and relevant) and wait 24hrs after joining before they can access the passwords

Existing members must have made at least 10 posts in the last 60 days to be able to access the password area ... if you cant access it then it because you have NOT been active recently and need to make more posts -

please make these worth reading - ANY poor posts are likely to get deleted, members posting just to get passwords etc will just get banned - so make an effort ;-)

Please Note: NO passwords will be sent out via PM anymore - to anyone - under any circumstances

I wish I could play the league games on PDC, but unfortunately I work Sundays and won't be home in time enough to play. Good luck to all who compete in the new league games.

not sure if youve spotted it but half of the games in the US Open are at Carbon / PDC also - separate league from the Sunday team only one

but if your around on Thursdays - then there are 6 games over 12 weeks at Carbon on thursdays too

never understood why there are restrictions on buyin games. I can see it for free rolls to limit the number of entrants, but a buyin the more inrolled the larger the prize pool.

there are restrictions on the buy-ins so that the $50 I add doesnt go to non members who get the password from some of our members who share passwords

this was a big problem with freerolls - but the members dont like finding non members in any of our games and I dont like putting $50 into their pockets either

so while I would love to see many more members get involved in the games - lets hope more do ;-)

it is a priority to make sure that as best as possible the money added and the buy-ins that make up the prize pool goes to active and legit members of the forum

this way you ... the members get the best possible added value (the $50 added) for your $1 buy-in without competition from non members who havent put in the effort the active posting members have to be able to qualify

I'm just a member, but I totally support this. Here's my reason:

This is a community not an ATM.


We aren't doing ScrawnyBob a favor by playing in his buy-in tournaments. It is a purely selfish act. In a way you pay for the entry into added money tournaments by being a productive member of the community. You could do this by sharing poker stories, giving your opinion of a poker play, offering advice, asking for advice or simply offering other congratulations. It literally takes a couple of minutes a week to remain active enough to get the passwords.

At the end of the day this benifits us all we are sick of none members crashng our tournys, and if u dont want to pay $1 to enter the game dont play............so to sound so abrupt but i for 1 am sick of the way people are going on
