logged out???

ok i have been logged on this site for over a year now...never have logged off..so i dont have to log on every time i come here..just a lil bit ago i went to a different site and come back here and for some reason i was logged out...had to log in....glad i remember my password....lol.....any one else have this problem???


edit....i have now went to all 4 forums i am a member of and was logged out of 3 of them......very odd

James does your pc automatically clear cookies and temp files when you close it down?

For any one interested to know if they truely have cleared temp files

Start
Run - type in %temp%

I think most might be surprised by how much is left even when you think it's been deleted.

If you use the %temp% method to remove temp files you will need to re-submit your log in details and pw when you go to a forum

nope never deleted any cookies and my pc is not set to auto delete them either....it only happened that day...all seems fine since....though i havechanged some passowrds the last couple days on some sites...and only go to those sites thru firefox now....mainly the sites that have my credit card info....no more explorer for them....lol

I use Firefox and like it because it remembers all my passwords for me. Just make sure when you clear cookies and history you dont clear passwords. Id be really lost if I cleared them

Firefox rocks!!!

The only thing Internet Explorer is good for nowadays is watching movies on Netflix! lol (At least until it becomes possible using Firefox...)

I dont use automatically log in! I have my brain all password and username, nickname.
That is safe and i write in booklet.
