Cake Game Thursday

I know that the cake network has been having issues but the 4k game is listed in the lobby but its not on the calendar here are we going to try to play that or has cake already canceled it and just hasn't taken it down?

the Cake game is ON this week

I've registered early to check and the password will be put up in the locked area on Thursday a couple of hours before the game

the issue is the amount of places I have to update for games so everyone knows whats happening -

ie. everyone looks somewhere else for the info ...

some in the calendar

some of the green box top right of every page of the site (this is always updated)

some in the schedule post in the "results and dates" section of the forum

so sometimes I forget to get all the calendar entries up but the green box top right of all pages is updated on Mondays for the weeks games ahead

LOL shows how much attn. I pay. Been here about a year and been really active the last 4-5 months and never saw that big green box with all the games listed. It 's amazing I can pay attn. long enough to get the pw's and register for the game much less play in them.

opps - fixed the right left thing - sorry was trying to get post done while listening to someone who'd popped round unexpectedly while also wanting to get on with DIY ...

no worries - that you hadnt noticed the big green box on every page - probably says more about the big green box then about you

I think online we all tune out certain things - like layouts with the same navigation / layout etc - will have to think about that one

I haven't been following the Current Cake Crisis. However, it's now a bit under 4 hours until game time and this notice is posted in a Cake client popup:

Attention: Tournaments currently unavailable

As you may be aware, we've experienced some connection issues over the past few days. As our team works on the issue, we've removed the tournaments from the lobby until such time that we can guarantee a smooth playing experience for players. Please stay tuned.

Our game was good to go - I regged for it earlier etc etc

but now they have it seems got the same problem they had earlier in the week = all their tournies are off

not our fault - its across the network

so I guess we get it re-scheduled when they have it sorted out

aint that a bitch...no soccer practice today...i was gonna play this thing.....lol....lucky for all you others that were gonna play too..guess i won't take ur money tonight....unless we meet up on fulltilt at the $.05/$.10 nlhe tables....lol
