just to clarify (and thanks for the kind words from everyone including RG) - I wasnt meaning
thankless in the sense that no-one is ever grateful

more that I hate it when things go wrong - anything really and particularly when its multiple problems - that ironically end up solving 2 problems yet creating a 3rd non imaginable problem etc etc

thats thankless in so far as you know nobody is going to thank you for not managing to sort out a problem, creating another problem and so on

I fully appreciate how much the games mean to all the acitve members

guess I wasnt too clear - its more when things go wrong - you know that no-one is going to be too happy and you also know that as much as you try to post up info in the forum and to and fro emails etc with site to get things sorted ... you will get dealt another curve ball and find again something else isnt right

that becomes a thankless task to try and sort out - because at the very best you will end up with only what you aimed for in the first place

and I hate that - knowing in the morning when something isnt right chances are by the end of it they will still not be right and have spent all day trying knowing that most likely still have a problem

I can probably try slotting in a 9th game at the end but that is still going to leave a one game disadvantage anyway - so not sure that helps

hopefully we run a full slate next week
