hi all

just to clarify plans for next "season" starting at the end of May, running through June and into July ...

we will for the first time be running the annual

4KSOP or the 4King Series of Poker

yes it's our answer to the World Series for our forum members

I havent totally sorted out the details yet but ALL games will be at Fulltilt Poker and we will have most if not all of the main bracelet events only with buyins of less than $10,000 and $50,000 ...

there will be the ...

NLTH main event
Poker Player Champions HORSE event (the 50k one)

+ 7 card stud games, razz, omaha, limit game, heads up NLTH, HORSE, 6 handed, PL omaha and a couple of others

probably $2 buyins for most games (as this is low buyin but makes the rake % relatively better than $1 games have been)

the 50k Champions event (which is HORSE) will be $5 buy-in

and I also want to make the main main event NLTH a $5 buyin also

with something added to each of the games

also I will endevour to get all the games paying out final table (top 9) places

just so you all know roughly these games will be on the Saturdays and Sundays (not following the world series mid week days etc) but roughly following the overal event

and will start provisionally on Saturday 29th May or Sunday 30th May with
equivalent of the WSOP #2 $50k Poker Player Championship (HORSE) ...

4KSOP #1 4king Player Championship (HORSE) $5 buy-in $xx added


This is THE series event I have been hoping to do on 4kingpoker for at least the last couple of years but always ended up part way through a league season when the World Series started ... this year I had planned ahead at Christmas to make sure the leagues ended correctly so we could do this

more info to follow - but basically you ALL need to be playing these games and trying to win one of the 12 offical titles of

4KSOP 2010 Bracelet Winner in ... xyz etc etc

with 12 bracelets up for grabs this is something you all want to be up for ;-)

btw the regular team / individual league seasons will start back shortly after the end of the 4KSOP ... however I really want to get more teams in the mix and more competitive leagues going with this.

here's an idea: put all the money together for june and july that you give out to the top posters and give it to the top 3 in a 'Player of the Year' type race.

hi all

yep in terms of the "most" coveted bracelets the 4KSOP will be similar to the World Series in that the most reflective of the player(s) of the year / recognised world champions will be the first and last events of the series

#1 4KSOP Player Championship (HORSE) $5 buyin with $100 added

#12 4KSOP Main Event (No-Limit Texas Holdem) $5 buyin with $100 added

both of these events will afaiks be played on the Sundays at probably 5pm EST

the other 10 bracelet events will be played on Sat & Sun over 5 weekends and will all be $2 buy-ins each with $40 added

also I should imagine there is a reasonable chance that we will have multiple bracelet wins - so I may well put a prize(s) up for most bracelets won

Im sure Stix can put the 4ksop logo on and the type of game aside or something like that, and that only 12 players could have this on his signature will be amazing.
