WINNERS - Aced League Finished Early

hi all

As you all know Aced brand was taken over by Carbon / PDCpoker this has not affected players in anyway and all the sites are still perfectly good to play at

however this has meant we have to deal with the affiliate management at Carbon / PDC (who we have to deal with to get our games setup through) as the Aced affiliate dept is no more

as some probably remember the changes at Carbon on this front was in part the reason we moved to Aced

due to totally disinterested support from the affiliate manager at Carbon / PDC / Aced and failing to organise the remaining tournaments even after several emails and nearly 2 weeks ...

I am just going to declare and payout winners as per the scored to date

there is nothing wrong with Aced / Carbon / PDCpoker from a player POV so members should continue to play there but AM support is nothing like as good as it was when Richard was our point of contact

Prize money etc will be paid out in to Aced accounts asap - please send screen names via PM to scrawnybob

sorry but afiaks we could be left hanging day in day out waiting to see if the game this week would finally show - but I'm through giving them second chances or waiting for emails to never get replied to

yep looks that way - I hate to have a go at people but putting it politely I and other forums really noticed things go downhill for admin when Richard left

which is why we moved to Aced

having effectly ended up back with the AM from Carbon / PDC / Aced again I was happy to give them another chance / reserve judgement as I think they were dropped in the deep end when Richard moved

however last week I was told the games would be sorted for last week ... they werent

and after some more emails in between I'm not hearing anything again ... this is exactly the sort of inconsistent and or non existant support we had last time

and exactly the same problem I know alot of other forums had too

so if the current points of contact stay the same - I'm through with them in terms of trying to run games there

I guess I could look at another merge site but to be honest I really dont see another move for tournaments being very popular

Its a shame - I really like merge network and I have been a supporter of them since the start, love the software and hope they grow ... but cant work like this

Congrats to all the winners. You did a great job.

It's really sad, for the two last games I yould have been now back again and due to the changes in Aced management we could not play the last two games anymore.

SB: thank you very much for all your effort. I know you try to do the best for the forum and it's members. Just sometimes things work out differently than we all think they will.

Grats winners and thanks alot SB for all your effort, it's a shame the last 2 couldn't be played because i'm sure the points from those would have vaulted me into first, but maybe when the leagues start up again you could do one at another of the Merge sites, like say Big Bet or Nordica
