just a heads up that I have integrated the 4kingpoker blog into the main site here on 4kingpoker so it is no longer updated on the old separate site however most of the old posts are still up on 4kingpokerblog.com

the new home for my blog is here ... poker blog

and you can also find links to the blog on the navigation at the top of all the pages (the forum area links will be fixed soon)

What about Non US players on Indicted Sites ?

Non US players are a little bit split on the direction things are going to go in and as they dont really HAVE to play at US open sites.
Feeling that this may have made these sites financially unstable some European / Non US poker players are moving away from the affected sites to poker rooms who haven’t accepted US players since the UIGEA, this is understandable given non US players really dont HAVE to take the risk.

Very true. We don´t have to take the risk and even when Fulltilt say is business like usual, i still can´t get my money since saturday when suposedly NON US players will not have any problem, so do i trust in the site right now?, no, i don´t even get a email from fulltilt explaining the situation ( i do get a email from Poker Stars).

So at this point really thinking in move out from Fulltilt because i don´t have idea what is going to happen next. Only reason to stay there was traffic/games/ fast cashout and bad US players added to the pool, but now Fulltilt is like any NON US site, but with the fear if still can be trust and how long cashouts will be. So time to move out.

Hope that at least can have my money.

Yep I think the numbers speak for themselves a bit

pokerstars is down 30% (so 70% of its players are non US)

fulltilt is down near to 50% (so only 50% of its players are non US)

so FT has taken a much bigger hit relatively as it hasnt developed its player base globally as effectively as Stars

I can totally understand if non US players feel the need to move to other non US sites ... those sites are also capitalising on this whole situation

also its worth bearing in mind that all the sites affected will be swamped - PS probably handled it better with a blanket emailing that really should have been expected from all affected IMHO

however I do expect that this could lead to a polarising of the sites between non US sites and US open sites where those continuing to try to serve the US will have much more predominently US traffic ... Ultimately I also think that in the event of a clarified legal and regulated US market this will most likely be a US only inter state solution and not an internationally open market

basically I think that days of US and non US players mixed and playing together maybe numbered
