just a heads up that we are moving the site onto a UK server over the next few hours so things may be a little sketchy for a bit but hopefully normal service will resume soon

Just like the Judge said, if you hadn't of mentioned it i would have never known. The only thing i have noticed is ever since Black Friday and then Bob not paying for posting anymore the people that come around here anymore are almost non-existent, and that really sucks because this is an awesome forum and Bob really goes out for his people and then these tossers up and leave because of some stupid reason ???

I've noticed the difference, maybe its cause of the time of day I come on.

Past mnth or so I have had major issues with timing out, not sure if SB even got the messages I had sent aboot that. Even with the server being further and more hops away, it feels better.

makes a lot of sense now to have it on a UK server

Been workin' fine for me too (no probs at all).

Petey, the traffic on all the poker forums is wayyy down... even over on P5's where ALOT of their members are playing in the WSOP events, the traffic on there is REALLY low. Seems as if most US players have just up & left the poker forums. I haven't even heard lately how things are going on Carbon for them? (as this was kind of the buzz for awhile at first).

CARBON Is going great

DUNNO IF BOB has a link, AH hell I guess they arent taking new signups either. If you got an account get on POKER HOST (merge) as I got my credit card to run right through so funding that was easy. BUt just small amounts as HMMM how can you say what you paid for

Carbon has a different deposit set up so I dunno if I can money on there as well as cake and of course none of these sites are using the same wallet as I was thinking of using a wallet just to put money on with out much thought of getting it off ntil the actually site can send it to me.

Figures just when Im really starting to get the POKA FEVER, all the big sites are gettng axed. IS DOYLES ROOM STILL ALIVE, Last time i went there the govt issued their autograph to the page.

Poker Host review to come soon - but basically a skin on merge with so far good feedback from forum members if that helps

Yep it's something of a comfort to know other forums are down on posts etc but it would be really good if we could keep all members motivated to post ...

Even if its a vent point for frustrated US members to chat with other players or to talk about live game experiences etc

that IS part of what we are here for after all

The decision to move sites over to my UK server was after alot of deliberation and partly because I just dont need the grief of the DOJ deciding to over extend their authority should they decide to widen their remit

anyway I'm glad that it's not be an adverse move

I'm well aware of this thanks... it's not what I was referring to. It was more about > # of entrants is up in MTT's, MTT structures are being changed (improved upon), general comments about what they thought of the play, of the games, of the site, etc. etc. (as there was quite a buzz with this for awhile there).

DanAbs, DoylesRoom actually did some great software improvements but honestly I don't think that site would be worth playing on even if the software became as good as FTP's. There's just sooooo little traffic on there. I also don't particularly feel too confident with them.
