I've wanted to post more on here but tbh some of the 'feedback'(< ?) I was getting I can't say I was overly impressed with (hey...maybe I deserve it) & get REALLY REALLY sick of reading posts by Noobs talkin' about 'rigged' this 'rigged' that etc. I mean seriously... is it even a valid topic/thread for discussion? (maybe instead put it into 'archived articles' with posts/comments about why they can put their fears & theories to rest.. with a bit of info. for them to read (I'm sure there's already been PLENTY of info. that Bob's put into those threads/posts... just linking a few of them together 'sticky them, then merge/move any 'rigged' nonsense onto that thread (or delete).

I've considered picking through some of my hands from HH's I save for review (whether that be for my own purposes to review or ones I use while instructing/training others... as there's typically something with some decent food for thought for MTT players). Not sure if there'd be interest in it?
Something I have noticed when posting on some other's HH threads, I get a series of worthless comments > ie. yah out of that 'book', etc. etc. Seriously... what is that b.s.? How bout they just comment on the line takin' in hand (where they figure we've lost value... where bet-sizing might've been an issue... etc. etc.). Alot of it has felt like a battle of egos.

I feel (felt) I have some knowledge to offer to other's who may express an interest. I'm not going to take the time to post it though if it gets me with an attitude of indifference.
So.... lately I've taken my posting elsewhere (& believe me you.... I'm a chronic spamming multi-posting maniac with a sick number of online posts that makes even my own head spin (wtf am I doing.. damn that's alot of time spent/wasted(< ?) lol

I will make an honest effort next week to pick a hand or two & post about it. It'll be MTT play though.

I had noticed you were back and I was intending to comment positively about that because that is exactly what the forum needs - for active members to come back and post

but ended up clarifying the later posts about the games - then forgot to add additional post about your return

In all likelihood I got distracted by either a screaming toddler, a disfunctional dalmation or a teenager or possible all three at the same time.

I appreciate black monday has been tough for everyone

Ive had to let the forum slip at little - Ive had to prioritise

the main site is still awaiting an important sorting out of the code and I still have to try and earn a living with now alot less hours to do it - in the middle of a recession, in an industry that has gone through alot of negative upheavals in the last year (understatement)

as a result I've had to let the forum do its own thing as its never been designed to make money and I've also had to neglect the main site in search of setting up new non gaming business because its all too damn unreliable and in the hope of bridging the gaps that Black Monday have caused across the whole industry afaiks

personally I would love to have the time to be more active in the forum

so it's more that I had hoped our community had grown strong enough that would have been keen to hold itself together and stay active - without me being so active at the helm

so anyway its great to have you back active in the forum and I hope more return to try and get things going again

but the last few months have been proof one way or another that whether I am really active in the forum or not very active one person alone cannot keep a forum active -

the success of the forum part of 4kingpoker needs and has always needed for the members to be involved for it to be successful - more activity leads to more activity and vice versa if its just me one or two posting then things grind slower and slower to a halt

I will try to be a bit more active in the new year but I've had alot of things pulling me in opposite directions and needing alot of my time

anyway good to have you back and I hope more members can encourage other members to come back

I was planning to send out a Christmas PM / email to everyone in the hope that might get people back onboard over the break

its been a tough few months for everyone

Awww jeeez SB, hell, I know you haven't got a mean bone in your body, But you know me, I like to be snarky at times. And I wish you the best of luck in re-energizing the forum with posters, that is tuff work in todays poker climate.

Also, Hiya Poker Orifice. damn you were crazy good last year, i hope, hehe, you have gotten poker lazy ( at least when i might get on the same table). But still good to hear you are still playing. I read your post about HH's, and to tell you the truth, a HH....can bore the shit out of me....even tho I know there is great info there.

I have often thought there has just got to be a better way to describe a HH, besides the dry, list-like recitation of facts that a typical HH gives. HH replayers are clunky and complicated to use and set up, and just saying I was in a game where "this fool 3 bet a whatever with blinds at whatever and he was SS" always confuses, as important data is not presented or explained, or remembered incorrectly (lol). What the hell, lets come up with understandable system of explaining HH's

So PO, good luck with that. LOL, like you say HH posting does seem to have "ego" issues. Ahhh well, so does life. But it is great to still see ya around.

And Hiya Judge, I'll be sending you a dictionary for christmas.
