PokerStars Record attempt & Home Game League

hi all

as everyone will be aware pokerstars were running their record breaking attempt on the same day as our regular league home game - so several players were not able to reg and several players reg'd were unable to play

on balance Ive decided to null and void the results for the game as it doesnt seem fair on anyone to count them

sorry to those that had good finishes but expect everyone can understand the logic of not counting the game

I will add another one onto the end of the league so it will have run over 12 games as planned

I did think about trying to figure out how it affected team scores v how many of active teams were in etc etc then other variables to try and see how things would impact etc

then realised that was pretty pointless if it was just going to end up as a holding game and if not then any advance on points wouldnt be fair either

thanks for agreeing as your the winner and highest point scorer in the game

Best possible decision Bob as our Team UK had 4 Team members registered while WWoman was unable to register for Vixens and you yourself were missing from your Team as well.

Good week to have PC PROBLEMS and now Im wondering if I over-reacting, I couldnt get pokerstars lobby to load fo ran earlier game, my internet kept dropping and coming back on and my PC was running awful, SO I SAID, IM REDOING THE PC real quick and as I forgot the install is quick the UPDATES are an all day affair. ANd now I hear everyone had trouble geting on PS and I cant say my PC is running any smoother after my big REDO

I think the last game probably ran a bit more to plan but ultimately again people werent able to get in to play / sit outs etc

so I will also scratch the games results for the second week

we will reshedule 2 more games immediately after the "end" of the season

possibly this coming weekends game may have similar problems as its the 10th anniversary $10m game ... so we will have to see how it goes

just restart the season after new years its gonna be hard to get going on christmas and new years day which shouldnt penalize folks who have plans since this week should of been the end just use jan to run the last 3 games just my opinion
that way we wont have to guess this sunday if folks will get logged in

just so we all know todays game Dec 18th is still schduled

whether it will counted or not will be down to the same issues problems as the last two games - I can see the 10th anniversary game may cause problems

but I dont have a crystal ball so we will have to see if players are able to get in / register / how many sitouts etc etc

I will reschedule the missing 2 (possibly 3) games into the new year -

although I was hoping to get them out of the way over christmas to keep next years schedule clear IF I setup any more leagues

hopefully we will see forum posting picks up over the holiday season for some motivation
