As we are most likely moving games to Carbon / Aced for next season I can payout prizes to carbon accounts rather than pokerstars

on the next season front - Provisionally we will have a season of 12 x $2 buyin (nothing added) games at Carbon / Aced

given the turnout for pokerstars games was low this change seems to make sense

and also things seem more settled on the US / non US front (relatively to Black Friday)

I will add something for overall individual and team for the end of the season - but it wont be massive (Im sorry to say)

ie. 1st $15, 2nd $10, 3rd $5 and $20 total for the overal winning team ($5 each)

I know that is not going to be great news for the forum members who do play our games but carbon / aced isnt a big money spinner for me and generally revenue from sign-up to other sites is substantially down since April too.

anyway negative I know but bottom line is I cant lay out money I havent got

lets hope the change to carbon is at least a popular one and we can build from there

Just a suggestion here. Instead of teams, ever think of just making it a solo game as I dont know if I can committ 12 sundays which isnt fair to a team, but I do plan these games, but I hate being committed since there will only be probably 3 maybe 4 teams at the most. and are the games password protected or can anybody not on a team just buy in and play and if this case, why teams

Nice to see the plans for a new season too. With the green shots of a brave new poker world coming up in the US maybe some of our formerly active American members will come back to get there asses kick by us poor Europeans come on you know you want too.

it already is a solo game - they all have been

dont worry this always seems to cause a bit of confusion for players who are in teams thinking they have to be in a team to play

you dont - the leagues are all individuals games (hence the individual prize money as well as team prizes) - and they always have been both

we used to get alot more individual non team members playing in the games so it didnt get forgotten how the leagues had evolved

this has always been the case that any legit member with 10+ posts can access the passwords and play

the team angle as mentioned in the past is an add on additional facet of the leagues ...

this is why its so important that teams understand they are NOT playing as a team in the sense that team play, collusion etc is not allowed

ps. Ive got my own views on how I would have liked to have evolved the team side of the leagues but no-one ever seems to agree with me on that so I've given up banging on about the short comings of allowing it to degenerate into a 2 horse race ...

sure enough a few seasons later its definately down to a 2 horse race and a tonne of players have lost interest because they also I think misunderstand and think its only a team thing - despite always having individual prizes and explaining the structure of the league every season ;-)
