Hi bob,
Every poker forum making freerolls or buy ins tournaments every weekend (couple games at the same or different sites).
I didn't see it here.
Maybe if you can do that it will atract some new friends, or old friends.

hi Byte
we used to do $50 games every Sunday - the 4kingpoker freeroll tour & 4kingpoker buyin tour
I think so far we've had over 40 games and given away over $3000 in prize money
recently I've been doing $100 games every other Sunday and only doing buy-ins - this was more of an experiment to see if the increased prize money was appealing to more members
You can find our games schedule on every page (top right panel)
and also on the Tournament Page
It maybe that we go back to weekly games - we also had a run where I'd organised games weekly on both Sundays and Wednesday - so 2 per week but it gets quite tricky for me to organise them as they take time
Plus the poker sites themsleves are much more interested in the new signups etc that it produces for them - I just want to get as much sorted for the members but for the poker sites themselves they look at it as business results even if I'm funding them
The monthly forum posting freeroll is new - but I may well try to do a combination of the ideas once the current buy-in tour has finished
cheers scrawnybob

Hi bob,
Thanks for letting me know about the tournaments page.
It was kind of hard navigate to there (for me) without your link.
I see couple of games there, and i registered for the tours on dream poker and usdbet, i already registered to the buy in at carbon, and on titan poker i can't play.
so i hope that will attract the people to come and play.

hi Byte
nice one - yep I've been trying to figure a bit better visibilty for the tournaments and the tournament page
maybe I need to do something more with the green panel on each page to make it a bit more noticeable - but its an improvement on the older layout hopefully
with your posts this month I should think you will also qualify for the $100 monthly posting freeroll at poker.com / carbon for this month too
I will definately be getting more tournaments running - but all the online poker sites are less keen to spend their time organising freerolls now so we might just make the next buyin tournaments a weekly affair (rather than alternate Sundays) - the prize money being upped from $50 to $100 doesnt seem to increase the numbers by much so it maybe that we more than double the number of tournies but do them as $50 ones ideally twice a week but I see what I can sort out
cheers scrawnybob
ps. the red navigation tabs at the top of the pages should link to all the main internal sections of the site

Hi again bob,
Truely, I know how to navigate through the site because as funny as it sounds, i'm working for a big portal website in my country (called MSN if you heard about it).
But honestly, for a normal user that using the internet, this navigation it's kind of hard. many of the players that playing online poker doesn't realy know how websites are working, and they only know that they need to double click on the poker application and play.
I believe that if you will make a first page (welcome page for non registered people) and explain how to use the site, like tourneys can be found on the page of the tournies (but what about the calender?) and more things you should know as begginer (newbie at poker too).
