U know scrawny bob u guys should really put in a chat room, those are always fun to share ur experience of the day wht tournies u r playing. I havent seen one on this site, so it would be cool to install tht in.

We've had a few suggestions for a chatroom feature

but so far I've avoided putting one up for a couple of reasons -

a) From looking at other sites that do it - it is a spammers / affiliate bonus codes heaven - and to be honest I've not put in so much effort and money to build the site for the lurking spammy members and other affiliates to join up and nick potential signups etc from our site via chatbox - when the reviews etc have taken 100's of hours to write etc

And I cant stay up 24/7 watching it to know what is or isnt going on

Selfish I know but the site has to make a return to cover the tournaments / costs / time etc

b) IM etc do the job so much better for chat as far as I can see

c) The forum could be just as easily used more for badbeats / questions etc and likely to get more answers etc from the posts being up rather than a chat being a one off

maybe its just me but I know talking with other forum owners they have similar concerns and dont have chat for these reasons
