We had a total of 3600 posts in February ;-)

This month and following months we have added the monthly forum posting prize draw as well as continuing the monthly forum posting jackpot

Monthly Forum Jackpot winners (top 3 posters) as follows ...

YoungGunKid 397 ... wins $20 at FullTilt

gnk1221 294 ... wins $20 at FullTilt

Killermanner 195 ... wins $20 at FullTilt

Monthly Forum Posing Draw winners (random from months 10+ posters) as follows ...

Our draw is randomly picked via a very un high tec method ... I get a mate to pick two numbers between the total number of eligiable players (this month two numbers between 1 and 43) and they are the winners

43 total eligible players for draw (exludes me & the top 3 forum posting jackpot winners)

Draw number 1 ... kingjames07 ... wins $20 at FullTilt

Draw number 43 ... lucky7s ... wins $20 at FullTilt

payments will be made asap - please will the winners PM me with their FullTilt screen names for me to do the transfers within the next week

I hope all members will appreciate the addition of the forum posting draw which opens up the chance of winning in the draw just by making 10+ (decent) posts in the month

Prize money into FullTilt or PokerStars

As of next month (March) I will make prize payments to either FullTilt Poker or PokerStars player accounts (as I have now got this approved by PokerStars -

(it's my money your winning but as an affiliate I have to besure this complies 100% with their T&C's as I have more rules to follow than regular players)

please note you dont have to have signed up to these sites via 4kingpoker to be able to enter or win money into your accounts - but if your not already a player at these sites, as always we really appreciate it if you signup via our links & banners etc

Eligible Players for Jackpot Posting

OK this is only a suggestion and I'd like feedback particularly from members most likely to be affected ;-)

Currently we have a 1 month off rule for winners of the top posting jackpot prizes - ie. if you win in January you cant win in February however high your post count

at the moment we have a couple of the winners for December requalifying to win in February - which is fine

This is absolutely NO PROBLEM to me (and is perfectly within the original rules)

but and its only a suggestion that we make it two months off rule ???

I know the most non winning members will say yes its a good idea and probably suggest making a stricter rule like "win once only or longer number of months off"

BUT I dont want to loose sight of the fact that winners of the jackpot have / do & are IMHO good contributing and active members who are worthy winners under any test I would measure it by

so do members (most importantly those high posters) feel a change to 2 months off from the current 1 is

a) fair

b) a good idea in the interests of the forum

c) not fair as we should reward the highest posters regardless of how many times they win (and keep it at one month on / one month off)

first and most important of all: congrads to all february winners! especially youngun who made a promisse not to hit & run so i guess we'll continue reading your interesting posts/povs.

as for the suggestions i would go with c! i think two month is a very long period to wait. and i also think (and feel im speaking for all) that its too long period waiting for gnk's and killer's posts. the guys are doing a great job (especially killer) for greeting new members with a warm welcome.
the idea of adding PS to the payment list is also a great idea because the site isn't less popular than FTP (and some would say less of a bat beat).

i've posted this with a rush so if i'll think of anything else i'll post asap.

generally- leave it as it is.

i would say "c" would be the most fair to all....but it really doesn't matter to me....though the money is much appreciated...like i said b4 im not here for posting bonuses anyway

glad c) keep it as it is - one month off

is getting the choice - I'm playing devils advocate a bit as I'm prempting the inevitable posts of - "why let people win more often" etc

as you know my view on forum posting jackpot winners is ... they made the effort / made the posts so they should win

the one month on one month off is I think the best compromise IMHO but I also want to give everyone the opportunity to have a voice / see the discussion and come to an informed decision rather than a gut decision ;-)

Honestly, whether it's 1 month or 2 months, it doesnt matter to me. I will still keep posting as I have been. It an added incentive to contribute to the forum all the while winning a prize........

It doesnt matter to me either...I agree with GNk its just an added incentive to being a member of this great community.Probably the way things are is just fine with most here in the forum I believe.Im also curious why the change too your real name GNK as your handle on Full Tilt?
