sorry guys it's been a bit heckic so I havent been able to post much - 4kingpoker is a bit like an iceberg at this end - most of the donkey work no one sees / admin etc

I agree that with the posting its all about getting quality threads and interesting posts going - but if we have more activity so long as its not total pointless posts then this will help

more activity generally should hopefully result in more interesting posts for everyone

and it's down to the forum members to bounce ideas etc off each other - hoepfully the forum positng jackpot will just start and keep up a bit of momentum for that to happen

& will my posts count ?

basically they add in on the totals (until we hit the jackpot) but I'm not it the running for the jackpot $20 - that is just for you guys

I'll have to play a bit more at Full Tllt to get the cash for you ;-)

You go into 4king Full Tilt freerolls through the Private or Custom section of the Tournaments Tab. They aren't very hard to find, if you need anymore assistance, let scrawnybob know.

thanks for the feedback but it's a bit ironic that you suggest the quality not the quantity should be measured and then all 5 of your posts are

spelt wrong / badly titled / more wrong spelling / incoheren / short and well not ... exactly a shining example of what your saying we should be juding posts on ???

As I've said before we have alot of posters / members for whom English isn't their first language - which is fine and we make allowances for this

but why point out something of others posts when you cant confidently make quality posts yourself ?

I wish that all this good energy will show itself in a more important poker sections,

for example: winning the ofc for 4kingpoker, or at least arrange 25 players to play the poker forum challange (which we heven't as dazzler posted)

look at suited pockets! how come they win every event??

wow ive just realised we have to post over 2000 posts to make the top of the jackpot. Well it takes me at least 5 hours playing freerolls to win a little 2$ so i have to say thats a great chance of winning some more and i dont really care about spending some time reading and posting since its almost an habit for me at this point.

good point - I'd looked at the average total posts over the last few months and felt 2000 was doable - we've been averaging 1200-1500 posts per month

anyway I've changed the per post rate to 5 cents so that we should hit the jackpot with 1200 total posts collectively from all the members in the forum

the idea is that the jackpot should get hit every month and then obviously things will hot up to be the most active in the forums ;-)

wow thats very kind scrawny, i was wondering how could i post that much to win a some nice bucks. Now its going to be much easier. The thing i ve found is that there are not too much actives threads to post on and ive tried to open some new ones but there werent very succesful.

Last week one of the users asked about how we would play a hand and i thought that would be a great thing to continue doing. I hope u start some kind of daily quiz because it would be great.

yep yournot the only one who liked coopb's hand thing - I'm going to be changing a few things on the forum in the couple of weeks before Christmas

with the break in tournaments - this gives me the chance to sort the schedules out for the rest of the current leagues starting back (will hopefully be an interim improvement before we start the increased new leagues)

and also get some improvements and new sections on the forum - both to make it a bit easier and also so you can all add in / share / reply to your own

"what if hand" tests

and also the "what would you have done" real hand histories

I'm also planning to add a new locked (5+ post only members) section for an idea I have which I think you will all like ;-)
