NEW Monthly Forum Posting Jackpot

That alone wouldn't be all that great though because not everyone could make it. It is a great idea though. Maybe have a freeroll for the top 9 posters...a single table tournament with a $100 prize pool...ahh how nice would that be. I wish I could play more 4king tournaments, I'd love to see what everyone is made of

i dont know about "cool baby" and "yeah baby" and all that, but infact i was pmming with a certain member about a similar idea...

now that you actually bring it up, ill take my chances and say that there are certain members in the forum, who like it little better than others, and post more quality posts than others.
a kind of people that the forum means more to them than just getting into scrawnybobs wallet, and for that reason they "deserve" something better, something that "ordinary members" wouldnt even care about!

though my english isnt perfect, im sure that some members feel the same way about the whole situation and therefore- something has to be done!

that idea about a single table of members which i was talking about, and shad also said that he would like to see what everyone is really made of.

that, i think is a great suggestion but not only that!

think how great would it be to sit in a table where everyone knows who's sitting next to him! that table would allow weekly/monthly/periodly meeting so the members would not only play there, but also chat with each other and discuss our "forum buiseness" or about posts or posters were seen lately in the forum.

im more than sure that sitting at that kind of a table, would also make scrawnybob chat with us- "the quality members", without having work, or other things that bother him during the ordinary games.

i know that you would suggest the buyin league, but i also know that wherever money is involved (even if its a buck) then 1. not all the quality members have this buck and 2. it will "slow" the whole main idea...

i know that my english is funny but, tell me- am i wrong?!?!

IF u are saying that i agree with u, the thing is i dont think scrwanybob thought the jackpot would give the forum as much action as ive seen on the past few days. I mean thers a guy who has been posting more than 150 posts for the last few days, how can we deal with that ???

Well then u talk about a single table tournament, but i think there are many members that would like to play there so its unfair to play on a single table.

Most of the players can afford to play 1$ tournaments, i really dont know how many active posters are here, but on the last freeroll i think there where something like 450 players and for sure most of them have never enter this forum.

I think thats a great idea. I would love to sit down at the poker table with the regulars here and get to know one another better and get in a good game of poker at the same time...

The top posters are all a little guilty of posting crap...I know I've had some not so great posts in the past couple days. It doesn't matter though...I will tr try every month to be a top poster even though you can't qualify twice in a row. The competition itself is fun, and to be honest I have bad chances of getting in the top 3...my life is too busy to spend too much time on here.

The competition itself is fun, and to be honest I have bad chances of getting in the top 3...my life is too busy to spend too much time on here.

Seeing as this is the case should I win I am willing to donate 25% of my prize to the 4th place finisher in the spirit of the holidays and because I made some great new friends here. This is a good board and there are some really good people here. I also want to be the 1st to come out and say that I am not here posting just so I can win the prize either. I started posting to stir up the competition, and thats just what I've done. And although the posting got out of hand it helped me make 3 new friends in the process.....

I know that this board will continue to grow in the future because it has a solid foundation. One that I am proud to be a part of as well. And Scrawnybob thanks for setting up such a fine place for poker players of all kinds to gather and play.

This is a good post though. And yes you've really stirred up the competition. I posted on this forum a few posts almost every day. The competition came along so I started posting more. Now I am absolutely wild posting because most of you other 3 are posting wildly. I will continue to post, maybe not as wild...but quite a bit.

It would be cool if the top 3 posters decided to put the $60 into a freeroll for the 3 of them, or the top 4, 5, 6, or however many. We'll see how it goes. We already know the top 3, it will be GNK, MAF, and KILL. I am ahead of Kill now but he will come back and beat me
