I think scrawnybob should introduce a rule that people should read threads before posting in them. I've already answered this question TWICE in this thread, and I'm not doing it again - just read the thread!

I think I went blue in the face on that one along time ago ;-)
there are alot of the threads where the info on things - obvious topics like passwords etc have all the answers in the first post ... & the 4th ... & the 9th etc etc
I didnt mind so much when the forum was a bit tricky to get round but its pretty easy now
dont worry we'll get there - the main thing is that we get some more decent active posters ... if in that process it means developing more posters into decent active posters then thats how it goes
I think the best thing to do it pick up on those decent threads and keep those active
I hack out alot of stuff (and leave some in the less than sinterlating threads - but in the good threads - off topic posts will be taken out for sure)
as always PM me or use the red triangle button if you want me to take a look at something I may have missed
cheers scrawnybob

there were alot of people in it that shouldn't have been.....i don't think if you come here and bust out 10 posts on the day....let alone the last few hours b4 the tourny you should be in it...but that's just my opinion
yep - I'm getting pretty tired of some new members and some old members lakc of reading -
the posting quality is getting worse and the people making rubbish posts seem IMHO to be ones who seem to most expect the passwords
If people cant read PM's and / or the forum rules and follow simple instructions it makes it a total headache for me
I end up having to send PM's back to daft requests / delete posts (which then gets them arsey) etc etc
I think maybe I'm just going to put up that once the passwords are sent in bulk - no late entires, new members will then have to wait til next week
although this doesnt encourage members to be active or in fairness discourage new members not to post junk - those posters havent read or followed the rules and I think they would probably post anyway
a dilema ... but this is some sort of solution ...
This will be where I put all the junk and borderline posts that are spoiling decent threads
this way they are out of the way for a while before I delete them after a couple of weeks or something - this way these members will have a chance to see their posts are considered poor and have a chance to re-post / post more decent posts to continue to get the passwords
cheers scrawnybob

This made me laugh when I read it. I know how you feel. I'm certainly no expert on the game either. No one expects you to be. We are here to share ideas. Sometimes I read things that make no sense to me because they are way over my abilities. Other times just a small thing will click in my mind and seems to help my game.
Most of all this is a forum of people wanting to talk to other people about the game. I have made a few friends here and love it when we get at the same table at the games. That's the best thing about posting. So don't be shy. We love to hear from you.
it seems that you do put alot of wasted hours into dealing with non-sense so if you need any help what so evr just ask cuz i don't do anything all day I am a stay at home dad so i have alot of time on my hands i do have some idea's i'll go ahead and pm them too you .... For all whom enjoy it here i think we can make this a top forum all we need to do is "come together".. like lennon always said
