Default game day PMs

on game day i see lots of members lacking the required post count to get the PW......i may be wrong but i am assuming PMing for the PW....if you people spent half as much time posting as you do PMing you could easilt get ur numbers up.....expecially lately i have seen quite a few members that have been members for over a year that have never posted and a few that have been here 2years clear back to the begining of 4king with less that 5 posts PMing....now i know it is really none of my business who they are PMin....but who could they possibly be PMin... other than bob or some other member that has met the requirements...so what i am saying is leave bob alone he has enough work to do with this site and just get posting and u will get the deserved PWs

Default viewing and PMingshow the same I think

hi JK

I think that viewing PM's and sending PM's show up the same on the "who's online" thing ... not 100% sure but I havent had many PM's coming to me today - and non requesting password so I think thats what it shows

but as you point out it would be a much better investment of time for members to just make the minimum decent post count and get the passwords rather than sending PM's to random members trying to blag the password if thats what some are doing ... but I think the "whos online" in terms of what they are doing is general rather than specific

hope thats a help - the worst days for me are the freeroll days when people dont read the rules ... or read them, ignore them and PM me with under 10 posts and somehow expect the rules to change just for them - they very very rarely do

cheers scrawnybob

Since the rules have changed since I have been a memebr just thought I would get some clarification (and my post tend to be unclear!) Is it up to ten posts per month finally or just ten post period? I have been unclear on this and just thought I would get some clarification.

Default 10 total

hi

it was 5 total ... now its 10 total

so NOT monthly

but we do hope that active posters stay ... active

the 10+ min posting requirement for the passwords is just a basic requirement, if we made it a monthly requirement then we would just have tonnes of iffy posts as everyone tries to get the passwords

but we definately hope members dont stop at 10 and keep posting regularly - we have a monthly forum posting jackpot (top 3 posters each month) + monthly forum posting random draw (2 random members who have posted 10+ in that month)

cheers scrawnybob

OK thanks for the clarification, I understand the whole keep people active thing. Just trying to get some clarification in case others were confused like I was. Thanks for the help.
