Was gonna play tomorrow but on dialup type speed the download was going to take all week and the wife insists the puter is turned off at bedtime.The file must be huge compared to any other room I use.

When I cancelled the download I got a message asking did I want a CD sent by post.They must get plenty giving up on the download.

Waiting for the disk to come by snailmail now.

Expect to be playing there by Autumn.

by autumn?? aren't we overeacting a bit?

find that night when no-one is awake/home, and download the software man!

the speed is better at night but in general, i've never met a program that takes ages to download.

I think you might struggle with alot of sites playing on a dial up / slow connection

PKR download is big but not that bad over broadband - on dialup its going to be a long wait so the suggestion of over night is a good one

as for the CD via post - in my experience PKR has been one of if not the best site to work with for support of both players and business partners ...

so I would expect they will have that CD to you very quickly - they are a really organised outfit ;-)
