hi all
As mentioned we are going to put on a separate Full Tilt & PokerStars buy-in league which will start at the same time as the new season of US Open and Non US Leagues (we will be putting up 2 US friendly sites to replace them in the US Open league)
The Full Tilt & PokerStars League will be a buy-in only league (not open for debate)
Ideally (and the main point) for changing is to get a time(s) and day(s) when our FullTilt and PokerStars playing members (+ any members who havent tried either yet) suitable for BOTH US fulltilt / pokerstars players AND Euro fulltilt / pokerstars players
Having them in the current US Open leaves out the Euro non US tilt and stars players + I'm sick of fighting a losing battle of the freeroll password sharers etc which seems to be worst on these two sites as they are the biggest online
so ... this question is only for members who are / would play $1 buy-ins with $50 added at Tilt and / or Stars ... if your only prepared the do freerolls at these sites ... thats fine but please DONT add moaning / why posts - feel free to post another thread for that ;-)
What day is best for everyone (US and Euro) ?
What time is best for everyone (US and Euro) ?
I'm think out loud that a weekend day might be better as this means we could go for something like 4pm / 5pm EST which would be around 9pm / 10pm GMT
If we did it on a school night then this sort of time would be too early for US and later would be no good for Euro players ... this has always been the dilema with the US Open times as US friendly sites (and the US Open) is open to all at least in theory.
In terms of days we could either squeeze a game in on a Sunday between the existing leagues or go for a clear run on a Saturday
Alternatively we could do a non Thursday week night and alternate the times between a game at 7pm EST & 3pm EST (7pm GMT)
Ideally I'm prepared to increase the funding so we have a full tilt & a pokerstars game each week (ie. 8 per month) which would be twice the number of games we've had at these sites (but just buy-ins)
or at the least have alternating hosts so 1 weekly game (total 4 per month) which would mean the same number of games but again just buy-ins
I know it seems confusing but also bear in mind that we would still be having the same number of freeroll's and buy-ins in the US Open league (just at a couple of new sites)
provisionally at Cake and possibly DoylesRoom ... but I'm also open to suggestions on this
