Default Next US Open League replacement sites

hi all

as you will have gathered I've decided that we are not going to solve the freeroll password sharing and posting issues over night with our leagues and therefore I'm moving Full Tilt and PokerStars out of the next US Open leagues and setting up a separate $1 buy-in league for these sites.

We need to sort out a couple of replacement US friendly sites for the next US Open league

I am open to suggestion & feedback on the most likely possibilities before I start contacting potential sites to sort it out

Personally from the interest we have from our one off Cake Poker freeroll I think they would be a good site

also DoylesRoom is now open to US (with 11 state exception) so this is a good microgaming site we could probably sort out games at.

so ... Cake Poker & DoylesRoom ? or other suggestions

bear in mind everyone can vote on this - US and non US players

The other two sites - Bodog & Carbon Poker would remain unchanged

and also the format of a $50 freeroll and a $1 buy-in with $50 added at each site every month would be the same.

cheers scrawnybob

I don't often get chance to play but I do get in the games occasionally so I voted for Cake and Doyles.

You may have to watch Cake though played there with another forum and the game got swamped with password stealers.

I like Cake and Doyles. The Microgaming sites are fun to play, I love the graphics. The chips actually "hop" on the table! But there are those poor US players in the 11 states that wouldn't get in on the fun.

Cake also has many other skins, Some are small with low traffic. You might negotiate with one of them. Get a banner for 4King members to sign up to them with. This might also slow down the password thieves, who will not have heard of the cake skin site.

I have found cake support to very responsive, and fast. I do know of another forum that plays at cake, and when they send a list of players to cake of players in their freerolls that aren't members, Cake promptly suspends that players account at Cake.

Default Euro players that like late games is cool too

hi

thats cool - input from Euro players who want to make the late games in the US Open league is cool too

it's more to try and keep an important thread clean from "I wouldnt play but this ... " type posts

if Euro members who want to play the later games are up for it thats great ... and your input is most welcome ;-)

cheers scrawnybob

I prefer Doyles over Cake Poker. I like the design and that you can change the felt on the table and I like Doyle Brunsen and respect him.
